Thanks to their unwavering dedication, over a hundred women composers are now registered with MCAI. In a notable moment in 2021, MCAI's women's wing crafted a celebratory song marking the 75th Independence Day, receiving wholehearted backing from the organization. Recent accomplishments underscore MCAI's effectiveness in advocating for women composers, ensuring they receive proper recognition in credits and fair monetary compensation. To all women composers across India, I extend a warm invitation to join MCAI and become part of this empowering community.
